The Tick3t: Friday Note 4/8

Phase One:

The last month has been an incredible ride. We’ve raised over 765 ETH to fund tickets, operations and the next phase of this company. Over 170 tickets have already been claimed and we want to give a huge thank you to all of our members who believe in our vision and continue to make this community as special as it is.

Phase Two Sneak Peak:

In the coming months, the ability to mint lifetime memberships will end and over the back half of the year, we’ll launch our annual subscription model. Annual memberships will be the revenue engine of The Tick3t and by the end of FY ’22, we conservatively project having the necessary monthly recurring revenue required to sustain the business indefinitely. As we grow subscriptions, we will continue expanding into new markets and adding unique one-off experiences across the world (think Masters, F1, or The World Cup). The quality of our community will continue to be a massive differentiator and something we’ll intentionally cultivate. The events you can attend as a member will be equally as valuable as the people you’re attending them with.

Preparing for Phase Two:

In the coming months you’ll see us pushing much harder on growing our brand. We’ll be refreshing our website and launching a streamlined member portal. Member Spotlights will highlight some of the high caliber individuals in our community and the amazing things they’re building. “Free Ticket Fridays” is a campaign we’ll run to continue adding followers and expanding our reach on social channels. We’ll also be hosting prospective member events across our core launch cities to give people a preview of the utility they can expect by being a Black Pass holder. The team is working hard across all facets of the business but as we grow, we recognize the need to grow our team. We’ll be naming some “City Leads” who will help be our boots on the ground in local markets and ambassadors of The Tick3t. These are community members you all likely know and we’re excited to have their help as we continue to expand. Another area we believe we could improve on is our social presence. Any members with backgrounds in social growth / engagement, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re eager to have those conversations.

Together we’ve already built something very special but I believe we’re just now entering our most exciting phase. I can’t wait to see where we are a month from now. Have a great weekend everybody!
